Between Swallow Barn and Winterbottom Farm drive, part of road nearest to Winterbottom Farm.
Reported via mobile in the Carriageway category anonymously at 15:46, Thu 9 June 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3584082.
The edge of the carriageway between Swallow Barn and Winterbottom Farm has degraded, this has created a step change in the road surface. At it's deepest it is 4 inches, and the patch is 14ft long. This is holding water (as shown on the pics). Due to the width of the road the opposite side (field side) is now also degrading whilst vehicles take avoiding action to avoid the deepest section as this size will damage tyres. This was reported January 2022 and the report is classes as 'in progress' but no updates have been made

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
