Highfield Crescent from Manchester Road to the bottom of the cul-de-sac

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 20:27, Tue 7 June 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3579192.

The road surface on the entire length of Highfield Crescent is full of potholes and needs resurfacing. As you can see from the photos this problem is extensive and makes cycling and walking down the crescent unsafe. The road surface has deteriorated significantly. Even when the odd hole is filled in the repair doesn't last long resulting in rubble. This problem is exasperated by the road sweeper which loosens and spreads the rubble.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
