Centre of Jackson Road
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Clive Wright at 12:04, Mon 6 June 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3574447.
This has been an ongoing problem for 3 months. It has previously been repaired but only lasted for 3 days. I saw 3 men in yellow clothing doing the repair. A very amateurish job which was never going to last and it didn’t. This is a very busy road for residents, school and the industrial estate. I saw recently that it was due to be done on the 12th and 13th May but that action seems to have disappeared. This is clearly another case of inefficiency and incompetent road planning by Cheshire East Council.
Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.
During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
