Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3541194.
There are many many potholes on this stretch of road which have been this way for a number of years and caused by the M6 widening Contractors who offered to repair free of charge however this has never happened . This is the main route in to a number of houses and streets also used by parents to park for the local school so has a tremendous amount of usage . It is absolutely disgusting as it’s not just one pot hole it’s spread over a substantial area it’s dangerous to all our community and it feels as tho we are out of sight out of mind .Uts a bad accident waiting to happen or worse numerous vehicles with issues caused by trying to avoid the potholes ( you can’t there are too many ) . They came out and white marked all of them however that white marker paint is now almost worn off as nothing has happened . Makes you ashamed to live here as it’s so unsightly .

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.

We have assessed the issue and added it to our improvement programme for repair over the longer term. This means we are unlikely to do any improvement work here during the current financial year. Our programmes sometimes change if more funding becomes available. You should check our website for any updates.
