Altrincham road sk9 5nq you can't miss it

Reported via desktop in the Noise or Vibration category anonymously at 13:37, Mon 16 May 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3529064.

Pothole has been effecting our house off and on for over 2 years now, it gets filled in, then reappers a few weeks later. Its making sleeping impossible as it shakes the whole house if anything bigger than a fiat 500 goes past, this is effecting my mental health. My children are scared to go to sleep as they keep hearing the noise at night. We have also had our hall way plastered twice in the last 2 years as cracks keep appearing just after the pot hole does. we have lived here 11 years and this wasn't an issue before then.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
