The pavement at the junction with Two Saints Place.

Reported via desktop in the Uneven Flags category anonymously at 10:34, Saturday 14 May 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3525028.

The pavement / curb stones have broken away and lifted. On a number of occasions they have actually been pushed out of their natural position by weight of vehicles. Potentially dangerous to pedestrians (especially young children) who both walk / run and play with bikes etc as it would be easy to trip and fall (especially at night). The curb stones are crumbling away quickly now and will only get worse I would suggest this is repaired before someone stumbles and seriously hurts themselves.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
