On acute corner between A529 and Bridgemere Lane

Reported via desktop in the Kerbs category by Nigel Dibben at 13:37, Fri 13 May 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3523626.

Heavy vehicles (farm and/or LGV) have driven over the kerb crushing a service manhole. Damage has also been caused to the opposite fence. The distant photo shows the tyre damage to the road surface and centre white lines. THIS JUNCTION NEEDS A NO RIGHT TURN from Bridgemere Lane. This problem started when Birchall Moss Lane was closed but is continuing (I observed the corner being taken by a farm vehicle on 9 May).

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
