Weston lane basford between shavington hall and 56 weston lane bungalow

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 14:12, Wednesday 4 May 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3501355.

Large pothole half width of road always filled with water. Need to drive on opposite side of road to avoid damaging car or worse cyclist could easily have serious accident! This pothole has not been attended to since I moved to Weston lane in August 2021. Weston lane has many potholes and I note today two relatively minor ones have been marked for attention yet the major one causing danger and anxiety to road users has remained up repaired for at least NINE MONTHS!

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
