This street light has been missing for more than two years now, maybe longer. I understand that there have been some building works near where the street light used to be positioned which may explain why it has taken so long to be replaced but it needs either a new column where it used to be or the street light needs moving to the opposite side of the road because this road is very dark, especially in the Summer as the leaves cover half of the street lights. This bridge is in darkness without this street light so can it please be resolved? Thank you.
Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.
During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
