Junction of Middlewich road and Byley lane
Reported via mobile in the Conditions of Signs category anonymously at 08:26, Fri 29 April 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3490558.
Another serious collision at this location this morning. Again the issue appears to be the vehicle exiting Middlewich road not giving way. There is an urgent need to assess the safety of this junction and address road markings and signage and additional measures such as reducing the speed limit to prevent further serious accidents, injury and damage to property. I am aware this location is on the 2022/2023 road improvement plan but the categorisation suggests the road is designated for condition improvements not road safety improvements, please can this be reviewed and prioritised urgently
