Corner on broad walk

My husband and son were traveling in the car along broadwalk about to follow the road to the right leading to willowmead drive when a van just about wiped them out by failing to stop to turn right onto Bollin way (he was traveling from willowmead) to be fair to the van driver if you do not know the road, it looks like you continue straight as the road markings are barley noticeable. Thankfully my husband seen the van coming and as the van was traveling at speed and would not have made it round the corner, he anticipated he was going to cross the road/ junction into bollin way so he stopped the car in time. Thank goodness. This could have turned out very differently had my husband not done this. Can this please be looked at/ toad marking re painted so clear to drivers. Many Thanks
