Island opposite 45 Ashworth Park
Reported via desktop in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category anonymously at 12:19, Thu 14 April 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3459398.
I have concerns that the Willow tree is unsafe. The council have previously provided minimal trimming of peripheral branches, which have only encouraged more growth of large, main branches. The Willow tree now leans heavily towards the house with large branches overhanging the garden. Please can you confirm to the owners of number 45 that this tree is safe for general public and unlikely to fall onto cars and the property. It is also notable that loose branches regularly fall onto the garden, it creates shades and causes damage to the lawn and flower beds.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.

We have arranged for a tree inspection by a qualified arborist to be undertaken. This is usually completed within 20 working days, but depends on the priorities of the arborist. We will update your report once we have received the outcome of the inspection.
