Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3431201.
This is a recurring problem of potholes opening up, being fixed then opening up again. When open the pot hole has water in it even in the driest summer weather. There must be a ground water issue that means repairs are not effective. Please inspect the signs of ground water issues on the adjacent boundary wall. Repair to pot holes alone are wasting money unless you get to the bottom of the ground water issue.
Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.
During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
