Keeps flooding

The road floods every time it rains. This is a major route to the new £0.9m cycle/foot way to the railway station and school. You say it’s resolved but it’s not. People get soaked and Road users are avoiding it by driving so close to the pedestrian island!

We have carried out an initial assessment of the problem and we need more time to decide our next steps. Drainage issues can be complex and time consuming-matters and at this stage we are unable to give you any indication on timescale. We will update your enquiry once we have more information. In the meantime, we will keep the area safe through routine inspections.
