Station Rd Wrenbury, just before the Grange in Wrenbury direction on Aston side of Station

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:56, Wednesday 9 March 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3373733.

There are at least 1000 defects in a small section of road. This morning walking to Wrenbury station I have taken photos of a small selection of 9 separate large defects much greater than pot hole size of a dinner plate. I believe Cheshire East Council treat each separate pot hole as a different defect, should somebody need to claim for damage to a vehicle. I reported this in January and received up dates advising that the road would be repaired within weeks. It obviously hasn’t .

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
