Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3351103.
This flooding has been reported for well over a year now. Highways came out and inspected it and we were told it was an issue. The water does not drain away and laps the pavement. Oncoming traffic drive on opposite side of the road to avoid it and as it is on a bend an accident could occur because of this! People avoid walking on the pavement (which is breaking up) as the water causes a huge wave when traffic hit it when another car is coming in opposite direction. The road is sinking and the kerbs are lifting. People remark on it constantly and even one of your workforce when passing commented that something needs to be done about it! I have contacted the Parish Council who have also reported it! Visitors cannot park outside our property as the water is so deep when vacating the vehicle. I look forward to your reply asap.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
