The implementation of 20mph limits in Sandbach seems to be a bit haphazard. I agree with the concept, but the signs seem to come and go at random. On a recent drive through the town, I encountered: 1. Reminder signs (small ones) when I hadn't passed a sign for the start of the limit. 2. No signs indicating the ends of limits. 3. Standard 20mph speed limit signs adjacent to signs indicating that the limit was only active when lights were flashing (school zone). All in all, the placement of the signs seems random and confusing, and would almost certainly make it hard to prosecute anyone breaking the limit.

While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
