Road rainwater Drains in Fountains Close

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 10:12, Tuesday 15 February 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3312416.

Today 15 Feb 2022 the team and lorry that clean the rainwater road drains were working on Glastonbury Drive, as usual they ignored cleaning the drains in Fountains Close. My wife went out and spoke to them and they said they were not on the map. If you go to the online gully checker the Fountains close drains are clearly shown and say they have a target cleaning date Jan 2022. Please check Gully 790054121 outside our house and the other ones on Fountains Close. Please can Fountains Close be added to the map the workmen use. Thanks

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
