Bottom of pools lane
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 11:10, Wednesday 26 January 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3265802.
These potholes have been here since last year. Someone from the council came out and said he was going to get them fixed. Some men came and took 15 mins to fill in a few holes, 30 mins to have a brew in the wagon and then left. Two weeks later all tarmac out of the pot holes. They are running from Brookhouse green end to the middle of Pools lane and really deep. Someone had a cracked wheel off one of them and a puncture. We also have a Brook running down the side of the road which is also wearing it out so eventually it will collapse this was originally reported last year. The council have come out stuck a cone on the hole at the top, drew a line round the hole and I suppose they think it’s now fixed as this was October and still sat there. What is needed is people that actually can do the job that they are sent to do rather than pulling someone off a job in the office to repair the work on a road.
