Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3250116.
The householder has constructed a metal fence along the wall of her house which has narrowed the gap between two properties on each side of the road. Farm vehicles of considerable size use Oak Rd to pass and re-pass between the farms in the Village. E.G. Turner House Farm to Brookhouse Farm and Goosegreen Farm to their tenancies in the opposite end of the Village. The Parish Council have received complaints from the farmers messrs Hatch and Sidebotham. The clearance between the walls for their vehicles is as narrow as two and a half inches each side and has now been reduced about 1 foot making the narrow gap impassable. The highway has effectively been obstructed by this metal fence rendering the road impassable for agricultural vehicles. This fence has very recently been constructed and the landowner is refusing to provide her contact details to enable the Parish Council the opportunity to explain the substance of the complaint of obstruction.
