Congleton Road

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway category anonymously at 17:32, Monday 17 January 2022

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3247722.

We have increasing concerns about the speed of traffic down the road and the current speed limit outside of school hours. The road is narrow, winding and blind. This is a village containing young children and is frequented by horses, runners, walkers and cyclists. The road is dangerous for non-car users. Additionally it is unsafe for residents trying to turn out of their driveways as the road is very blind, cars are not visible and travel at very fast speeds. Your website states that you do not permit the use of mirrors on the highway and therefore every day we have to risk getting involved in a collision.
