Chester Road between Burford lights and Acton School
Reported via desktop in the Footway category anonymously at 11:11, Tuesday 11 January 2022
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3231879.
The footpaths are overgrown and covered in slippy debris and leaves and reduces the width of the footpath by at least half. This is not only dangerous but unsuitable for walking children to school.

We have assessed the issue and added it to our improvement programme for repair over the longer term. This means we are unlikely to do any improvement work here during the current financial year. Our programmes sometimes change if more funding becomes available. You should check our website for any updates. You can find details of the work planned for this location and where it currently sits on the programme through our website: https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/ highways_and_roads/ road-maintenance/ road-repair-and-improvement-programme-2021-2022/ road-repair-and-improvement-programme-2021-2022.aspx
