The entire carriageway as seen on the enclosed photo has multiple craters, some very deep others not so deep, will cause serious damage to car tyres/wheels and cyclists crossing this stretch of road on Station Road Wrenbury, Aston side of Wrenbury Station. The area has engineers filling in only the largest of the numerous pot holes, last summer. The road section should have had a complete section repaired at the time, but didn’t and the minor repairs appear to have been a failure and waste of council tax payers money. Urgent repairs are needed, the site shows numerous reports of this area, recently and over the past few months. This is a busy road to the station and the main road into Chester, via Cholmondeley, for residents in this area.

We have assessed the issue and included it in the repair and improvement programme for this financial year. While we make every effort to keep to the programme, it can sometimes change to stay within the available budget. You can find more details of the work programmed for this location on our website: https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/ highways_and_roads/ road-maintenance/ road-repair-and-improvement-programme-2021-2022/ road-repair-and-improvement-programme-2021-2022.aspx
