Yellow Gritting bin outside the front of 42/44 Redway

Reported via desktop in the Winter Maintenance category anonymously at 12:42, Sun 12 December 2021

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3174869.

A new yellow grit storage bin has appeared directly outside the front of our house, with no warning or consultation. The grit bin is needed but should be positioned in a more sensible place. Not only is it an eyesore, right at the front of my house, this is also where cars pull in, and turn around, so it will undoubtedly be damaged. This yellow grit bin needs moving. It can be repositioned underneath the footpath sign to "White Nancy" that is at the side of 44 Redway. I would appreciate an urgent response to this request.

  • How can this be "Closed" The yellow grit bin is still there. The last response I received on the email from yourselves was on 9th March 2022 which stated "we have assessed your response and have arranged to carry out work as soon as possible". NOTHING has happened. I would like a up date please and this matter re-opening.

  • Yellow grit bin still there. Have not ever had a response. Almost a year on! Please can someone actually let me know the council’s intentions regarding this eyesore.
