The location of this repeating damage and pothole is in the centre of the carriageway of Mount Pleasant which is a single track lane.
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Nigel Mottershead at 08:54, Tue 7 December 2021
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3164204.
The pothole and surface damage is due to the tree roots pushing up through the road surface and also due to poorly repaired attempts previously. This is becoming worse by the week and soon will be likely to cause damage to cars with low fronts. It is also a hazard to pedestrians because there is no pavement and the surface of the road is so uneven.
