Road-side street light immediately in front of Highfield Works (joiners workshop) on Highfield Road

Reported via desktop in the Column Damaged category anonymously at 15:45, Sun 5 December 2021

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3161124.

Street light 2 on Highfield Road was replaced with a new LED lamp post around 2 years ago, however the old and badly leaning disconnected old concrete lamp post wasn't removed from site during the works. This was reported to Cheshire East Highways, but nothing has been done about it. The redundant old lamp post appears to be leaning more than it was previously after the recent strong winds, and could be at risk of falling over onto the roof of Highfield Works and/or the roadway that pedestrians walk and cars drive along. Given that Cheshire East Highways are currently undertaking street light replacement works in the neighbourhood (street light replacement on Crompton Road), it would be appropriate to have the old redundant concrete lamp post removed now.
