Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3160103.
These potholes have developed over the past couple of months and have become deeper with the recent extreme weather. There are multiple potholes forcing traffic to swerve to avoid them. This is a characteristic of the entire stretch of road from the junction with the main road to the entrance of Cinder Lane.Multiple repairs have long since deteriorated due to the increase in traffic from the Barbridge closure and high volume of heavy farm traffic generally destroying the road surface. The road is in an appalling condition and in need of extensive repair. Given the high concentration of inexperienced drivers from the College in the vicinity, higher priority should be given to repair. There seems to have been zero response to the numerous reports logged in the area in recent weeks.

We have assessed the issue and added it to our improvement programme for repair over the longer term. This means we are unlikely to do any improvement work here during the current financial year. Our programmes sometimes change if more funding becomes available. You should check our website for any updates. You can find details of the work planned for this location and where it currently sits on the programme through our website: https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/ highways_and_roads/ road-maintenance/ road-repair-and-improvement-programme-2021-2022/ road-repair-and-improvement-programme-2021-2022.aspx
