Whirley Road

Reported via mobile in the Carriageway category anonymously at 09:18, Mon 29 November 2021

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3148800.

Whirley Road currently resembles an ice rink (29.11.2021) due to the decision taken by Cheshire East Council to not grit a very busy road, especially during school drop off and pick up. This decision has caused huge safety issues for residents and those needing to drive. I live on Whirley Road and can walk to school but I need to drive to a nursery. The Road was dangerous. Please could a detailed rationale be provided to justify not gritting the Road, aside from a cost issue? Thanks.
