Top of the bank on Lawton Avenue

Reported via desktop in the Winter Maintenance category anonymously at 12:17, Sun 28 November 2021

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3147693.

Salt bin requires refilling as the bank leads directly onto the busy A34 and when untreated in freezing and snowy conditions causes a hazard to road users trying to negotiate the steep bank

  • Can this be resolved as soon as possible as the winter weather has arrived and as residents we are happy to spread the salt ourselves so the gritters can focus on more important routes, the salt bin is empty and not been refilled as per your own website "We stock the bins at the start of each winter. You can ask us to re-stock, fix or replace a damaged bin". There has already been one near miss collision with cars sliding onto the A34.
