There is a deep hole in the pavement directly outside my house and I have recently had to have a builder out due to structural damage at the front of my house and he spotted this hole and said it needs filling quite urgently as water will be pouring down it and causing problems to the foundations of my house and the house (post office) next door. I am not 100% sure how long the hole has been there, however the builder mentioned it could be causing major long term damage to the foundations.
