Bend in Heyes Lane near Emerson warehouse

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3136666.
This morning driving very slowly on Heyes Lane Alderley Edge the road heading from the station end is like a sheet of ice where there is always water running on the road. I was driving into this bend at 15mph and my car which is a 4 wheel drive skidded and the AB braking system was applied automatically. Being a very experienced driver of various types of vehicle I was able to control the vehicle and with such a low speed it helped. I believe this very dangerous road has now been removed from the CEC gritting program. I absolutely urge you to think again as this bend in the road which at this point is 30mph is extremely dangerous at best of times with the constant running of water on the surface on the bend. Due to no gritting being carried out this has now turned to ice. This road has school buses that use it in the morning and afternoon. CEC has made this road a serious accident blackspot for the winter. A driver with less experience would not have been able to avoid running off the road. I look forward to your reply and solution to this problem as I have to use this road everyday.
