Roads & Pavements - Routine Street Cleaning
Reported via iOS in the Street Sweeping category by Peter J Golding at 19:22, Thu 18 November 2021
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3131664.
Owing to the volume of vehicle usage, Monks Heath junction (Congleton Road A34 and Chelford Road A537) roads and pavements are filthy. Dirt, gravel and various debris is in slowly piling up at the kerbside. I have requested and will keep requesting for regular routine street cleaning at this busy junction.

Unfortunately no road or pavement cleaning has taken place since reporting this. Plenty of street cleaning vehicles are seen en-route to Macclesfield on the A537 but they are in transit and not cleaning.

Most frustrating that CEC are ignoring FixMyStreet and the public in doing the decent thing by reporting filthy roads and pavements. As previously reiterated, this particular junction is heavily used and needs to regularly cleaned.
