On the grass verge between the entrance and exit of the Poynton Household Waste Recycling Centre

Reported via desktop in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category anonymously at 11:11, Wed 17 November 2021

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3128554.

There are a few trees on this grass verge that look dead or are dying. They area also leaning towards the highway which I believe increases the risk of somebody getting hurt. I have reported this several months ago.

  • Hi there. I don't believe that I've given the incorrect location of the dead trees. They are on the grass verge outside the Poynton Household Waste Recycling Centre, Anson Road Poynton. The grass verge is in between the entrance and exit routes from the site. WebGIS indicates that these trees are classed as Highway trees. Thanks, Anthony.

  • One of these trees has come down in the high winds this morning - Tuesday 7th December. I'll attach a picture to show this. Part of the debris is on the road/path/highway. The decision has been made to close the Poynton HWRC.
