Outside 113 Whirley Rd on the northern side of the road

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 16:22, Tue 2 November 2021

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3100367.

It was great to see the gullies being cleaned only a few weeks ago. It's now clear that the work done on this one has not cleared it as fully as has been usual in the past. The overflow from this goes over the road and adds to flash flooding which is increasingly regularly causing problems for our elderly neighbour over the road as the land slopes down to her side, and I have witnessed several pedestrians being soaked by passing cars.

  • As initial jetting has not resolved the problem we need to carry out further jetting work at this location. We have added it to our online jetting list, which you can find online through the link below. Once we have programmed the work it will appear on our online upcoming jetting schedule, which we update on a weekly basis. The list shows the schedule for up to 2 weeks in advance. The schedule is usually updated weekly so you may not see your location immediately, and changes might be made if we need to prioritise work due to emergencies or weather events.
