Street light opposite 13 beeston brow

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3088741.

This street light previously well lit up a dangerous sharp bend where accidents have previously occurred. Last Friday 2 men from the council placed a guard/shield on the street light after which hardly any light came from this street light which I reported, today the shield has been removed however the light is showing even less light now, this is very frustrating, this is a dangerous sharp bend which needs to be lit can the light please be reinstated to prevent further accidents occurring as a matter of urgency. There is a lot of elderly neighbours who drive on this road and have also expressed their concerns on the lack of lighting on this very sharp steep bend, please attend to this matter as soon as possible.

  • The light fitting has still not been reinstated it is still giving very little light it was previously well lit and lit up a sharp dangerous bend where accidents have previously occurred, I rang and spoke with Claire who said she would escalate the report and asked me to email Sarah Hemmings which I promptly did and have not had any reply if you could please place a stronger light bulb in this valuable street light as a matter of urgency before another accident occurs. I look forward to your response, the report states it is closed and that I have received an update through my preferred contact I have received nothing.

  • This problem has not been fixed can you please repair as soon as possible as this is a very dangerous bend which I have stated in previous emails absolutely nothing has been done, I reported this problem in oct 2021 can you please fix this issue as soon as possible, nobody has been in contact with me, however I note in the update that I have been contacted?
