Footbridge or pedestrian crossing?

Reported via iOS in the Zebra Crossing category anonymously at 17:33, Tuesday 12 October 2021

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3058524.

Dear Sirs, It is surprising that this point, where walkers and families with small children cross, that a footbridge or pedestrian crossing has not previously been installed. Given the high speed limit, the risk of crossing, to pedestrians, seems quite high. Should an incident occur, it might seem in retropect that it was negligent not to install a safe way of crossing for pedestrians. It would be satisfying to see one, since the presidemt of a dedicated bridge has been installed a few hundred yards down the highway for cows to cross. Yours faithfully,
