Tree blocking out light and causing damage to path and property's outside 65 Gainsborough Road
Reported via mobile in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category anonymously at 11:21, Tue 5 October 2021
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3043006.
Over many years now the trees on Gainsborough Road have not been maintained by the highways they have grown so big and out of control they now overhang some of the houses and the roots have caused damage to the property's and paths making them dangerous to walk along some residents choosing to walk on the road especially at night where the street lights are blocked out. The tree outside 65 Gainsborough is blocking out the light to our living room and has caused our front wall to move and the flags to lift and also now have cracks appearing inside walls and ceilings. When previously contacted the council was told we could could cut back the tree ourselves I thought us paying council tax was supposed to deal with issues like this.
