A54 Near the Wild Boar pub

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3036164.
I feel I must complain about the environmental vandalism being pursued by the Cheshire East Highways department. There are at least three locations on the A54 where warning cones have been placed, presumably to warn road users about the awful condition of the road. These cones are regularly knocked down and fail to serve this purpose. However that is not the nature of my complaint. My complaint is the fact that this area of natural beauty is being sullied by the continuous presence of these cones. I ask, when they will be removed and repairs actioned? If these warning devices are being placed to avoid spending money on repairs then the logical extension of this policy is that eventually our roads will be two continuous rows of dayglo orange cones. This situation is intolerable to me and I would welcome clarification of your policy regarding repairs versus placement of warning signs. At the very least I would ask that repairs are actioned so this beautiful area is not sullied with orange plastic. I would welcome a meeting with highway officials if that is of any value to you.
