2 chestnuts trees outside oak house, black firs lane

Reported via desktop in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category anonymously at 09:44, Monday 27 September 2021

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3026721.

A big branch from one of the chestnut tree fell on the road on Sunday 26th Sep 2021 and Cheshire East came around immediately as an emergency and cleared the tree, thank you

However both trees have branches overhanging the road and very high over our hedge into our front garden.

These are very old trees (at least 100 years old) and conscious that alot more vehicles and people walk along the road. Also conscious that some of the big branches could fall onto our garage.

Can you please significantly tidy up the two trees as I suspect big branches like the picture attached (some of the same trees) will occur again.

  • Hi

Just a note that the trees are quite tall at least 50 feet
