Pavements filthy from the rubbish caused from lorries going to landfil

Reported via desktop in the Street Sweeping category anonymously at 08:40, Tuesday 21 September 2021

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3014818.

All along Maw Green Road from the junction with Sydney Road to the railway bridge the pavements are in a disgusting state with rubbish rubble and dust and litter! I have repeatedly reported this over the last couple of years but nothing is ever done! Yet the other morning they were sweeping the pavement down lime tree avenue so why couldn’t they have done Maw Green Road at the same time! I’m sick of paying my council tax for nothing to be done in my Road!

  • This is a constant problem because of the lorries coming and going from the landfill ! The roads and pavements all along Maw Green Road need to be done at least twice a week and in wet weather every day! There is a real problem along Maw Green Road because of the landfill that Cheshire east don’t seem to understand and make the landfill comply with! It is not only dangerous to have mud and stones all over the road and pavement but illegal to leave this mess all over the highway ! If a farmer left mud all over the road with his tractor he would be in a lot of trouble because of the risk of cars skidding but the council just don’t seem to take any action over the mess coming and going from the landfill !
