Carriageway in poor state of repair
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2735323.
This section has been patched up over the years and is now in a dangerous condition, due to inefficient maintenance and passing the buck. The latest report has been passed to United Utilities, who inspected the pipe network yesterday and found nothing for repair in the way of pipework. I held a conversation with the inspection team, who told me it would be passed back to highways. The last patch repair has already sunk to cause a further dip in the road surface. The previous patch repair last year failed to fill in the enormous cavern that had developed under the surface, which has caused the current undulating surface. Let's not just pass this backwards and forwards between service providers. Get it fixed properly once and for all.

After further tarmac dropped on the problem, this is now like a roller coaster. The whole area needs digging up, the chasm below filling and re-surfaced. School buses and HGV's will cause further damage and collapse.
