Footpath blocked by debris and overhanging branches
Reported via mobile in the Footway category anonymously at 20:46, Wed 18 November 2020
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2394850.
The footpath at the bottom of Manor Lodge, public footpath, leading onto Nantwich road and under the aqueduct is blocked by debris snd overhanging brabches plus overgrown holly. This means you have to step onto the road to get on to the footoath. This path was cleared last winter by the contractors but the debris was not cleared away, just heaoed at the end of the footpath. Pedestrians need to use the new grass verge created by past owners of Manor Lodge as the new gateposts have made it unsafe to walk on the road to access the footpath. To clear the debris will mean they can get onto the footpath sooner and will therefore be safe.
