Gully/Drainage problem
Reported via Open311 in the Gully/Drainage category by Cheshire East Council at 16:13, Fri 16 October 2020
Council ref: 2344254.
Hello
Please can someone shed some light on a gully/drain as it really needs attention.
People Power have been sent out many times over the last 4 years to deal with this but have taken one look and driven away.
Winter is approaching and with it being directly outside our house it is causing considerable damage to the road and verges not to mention how dangerous it is when the ice sets in! its like an ice rink!
This small country lane is a thoroughfare between HJLEA Oaks(Mill) and Shores Store (Farm) so we have approximately 20-30 HGV’s/Tractors up and down this road daily transporting straights (corn and grain) back and too alone! Shores Store have just had a massive new store built so the traffic is expected to increase in the coming months. We are paying council tax for said businesses to use this road and we don’t get any reprieve it goes on 7days a week! Causing more and more damage to the roads and verges.
Please Please can someone get back to me on what the actually problem is to why this is proving a problem to clear? before an accident happens and can you also send me a log of when it was last cleared out? (NOT Attempted to clear out! Actually unblocked and cleared out!)
Kind Regards
Malcolm Turner
