Noise or Vibration problem

Reported via Open311 in the Noise or Vibration category by Cheshire East Council at 16:32, Wed 7 October 2020

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2330562.

Drain grate has sunk and heavy lorries are digging out the road surface around it, creating a deep hole which empty lorries are bouncing in causing massive bangs and shaking the foundations of adjacent houses. This has been reported many times. The last recent repair consisted of filling part of the hole with a bit of tarmac. A waste of time and resources because the lorries dug it out again in one day. This drain needs raising and re-sitting properly so that the carriage way is level again. Due to the adjacent traffic island, this is also an extreme danger for cyclists. The vibrations caused in my house and the noise caused is also extreme. Thank you in advance for coming out and repairing the drain/pot hole properly. Regards.
