Gully/Drainage problem

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2330503.

Caller advising that the ditch that runs along Plant Lane has been regularly filling up and flooding the road (both Plant Lane and Dragons Lane at the corner of these 2 roads). Caller advised that he has done some investigations of his own over the last 10 weeks and has found a gully on the corner that has been covered over with Tarmac (it has C.C.C. on the lid). He said it is totally solidified so open, but he advises that this will be completely filled with soil and debris which is causing the blockages/flooding. Caller has connected this gully to a new 6inch wide, 9mtr length pipe to the main drain, as there 2 fibreoptic tubes that were fitted by a company Fibreway which damaged the existing pipework. They have since gone out of business but the pipework has still been damaged. - JDS
