Flooding problem

Reported via Open311 in the Flooding category by Cheshire East Council at 14:29, Mon 5 October 2020

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2326352.

Serious flooding with at least three broken cars. Not withstanding the risks of trying to drive through the biggest floods yet this has been going on to long. Created by the widening of the road to create the entrance into the bellway estate, the builder was meant to have put this right and has failed to do so. Because it is now a more frequent event drivers get used to getting through. The flood signs have been there for about two years and are just ignored. Even with a van stuck just after the bridge I saw a car drive around it, mount the pavement and get through that way.(Crewe Direction). The beany kerns have also been broken in two places. Bigger drains must be provided.
