Noise or Vibration problem

Reported via Open311 in the Noise or Vibration category by Cheshire East Council at 08:23, Thu 17 September 2020

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2298708.

Further to report 3404166 which is claimed to have been fixed, the problem is that northbound HGV's are producing a thunder effect in front of my house due the the A50 road surface. The problem starts at the junction with the B5082 where the surface around an access manhole in the middle of the junction seems to be sinking due to the heavy lorries now using the junction - sand lorries and cement lorries. Once northbound traffic on the A50 hit the sunken area they bounce and then continue to do so due to continued poor surface (including the previously reported missing cats-eye). This situation will only get worse if not addressed. The noise created is very disturbing. Please contact me on 01477 534358 for more details,
