Reported via Open311 in the Flooding category by Cheshire East Council at 14:40, Wed 26 August 2020
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2264820.
The road is under constant threat of flooding, which has happened twice in the last week. Cars, HGV's etc, have to swerve to avoid the flood, and it is only a matter of time before a cyclist/motorcyclist/pedestrian is killed. The flood flows over the pavement on the side in front of my house and goes so far up Lyndale Drive. I am elderly and a registered carer for my husband, and find this long-standing issue very distressing. I have brought to your attention on at least 3 occasions, the state of the grids, as the lorries and cars, constantly hit them, causing noise and vibration.
