Conditions of Signs problem

Reported via Open311 in the Conditions of Signs category by Cheshire East Council at 09:03, Mon 10 August 2020

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2238031.

There is no through road as you travel along Moss Lane past the end of Salt Line Way. Moss Lane leads over the railway bridge and onto a densely populated housing estate. There is a continuous stream of heavy goods vehicles that come over the bridge and don’t discover they can’t get through until they’re in the very narrow bit of Moss Lane and then need to reverse out. There needs to be clear ‘Access Only’ ‘No Through Road’ signage further back on Moss Lane preferably around the end of Salt Line Way so they don’t have to turn around. The trucks come over the bridge onto a usually busy area with children, cyclists, people walking - as you’d expect with a housing estate. Presumably sat nav takes them so an ignore sat nav sign might be an idea also.
