Hedge/Tree Maintenance problem

Reported via Open311 in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category by Cheshire East Council at 13:13, Mon 20 July 2020

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2210081.

The caller has taken her granddaughter out for the first time and tried to walk along the footpath which is only a meter wide adjacent to a very busy road. The path is badly overgrown with brambles etc. so pedestrians either get scrcrtched or are forced to walk in the road which is not safe. As a result both the caller and her granddaughter are badly scratched which is a problem as a the child is awaiting a bone marrow transplant. There is no other route that they can take to walk. SP
